My name is Taylor and I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Development. I have been married since 2020 to my husband, Sam and we have a daughter named Adelyn. When I am not working, I enjoy spending the weekends with friends and family at the lake or ski hill. I am so excited to help your child learn and grow in the Monkey class!

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. I have been married for 38 years and I have three wonderful grown children and two beautiful granddaughters. I have lived in Boise, Idaho for 8 years now and I have worked at the Learning Tree for 6 years. I love what I do and I enjoy watching children grown.

Head Teacher of the Kindergarten Class

Hi, my name is Rian Hefty and I have been teaching Kindergarten here at the Learning Tree for 16 years. I grew up in a rural town in Oregon and moved to Idaho to attend Boise State University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education. This is where I met my husband and we loved everything Idaho has to offer so we decided to make it our permanent home. I now live in Meridian with my husband, two daughters and two dogs. When I am not teaching, I enjoy running, doing house projects and spending time with my family.

I have been working at the Learning Tree for over 10 years and I’ve had the opportunity to work in all four of the classrooms. During the summer I work with the grade-schooler’s then I transition over to the Kindergarten class during the fall. I am an aunt to three nieces and three nephews. I love traveling and going on adventures with my dog, Stanley.
